Welcome to this session on Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this session, we will discuss what AWS is, the companies that are using it, some of the basic services AWS offers, the AWS doable infrastructure, and the various pricing options. AWS is a cloud-based service provided by Amazon at an affordable price.
It has a global presence, with 18 geographical regions and around 50 availability zones. Each region has multiple zones, which are huge data centers with many servers.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has a worldwide presence and a global infrastructure, which ensures that there is low latency and top-notch disaster recovery measures. The pricing for AWS services is region-specific, meaning that different regions have different pricing for different services. However, the differences in pricing are not significant.
